At their forbidden touch flames arose, burning angel and demon alike. Through the growing heat the lovers smiled, for while they would pay the highest price for their moment of bliss, they would be together forever.
Entry for 's angel and demon contest >> [link] You dont know how many times Ive tried to draw this and it just didnt work lol. Ive got a bout a million drawings of this pair now haha! I really wanted to draw a female demon and male angel, Ive had the female character down a few times before the contest but she had alot of tribal tattoos then. I didnt really think that would suit the picture, wanted it simpler. Im really proud of this as a drawing, I was shit scared of drawing those wings but I think they came out good! And drawing the fabric was real fun. Not sure about the flames but I like the reflected light. I was going to add scorch marks but it looked seriously wrong :/ Eh, could be worse
mechanical pencil + photoshop 6 (there should really be a category for that. really.)
this is very nice. love the colouring. I wanted to enter in this, i used to draw angels n stuff heaps before but i just cant anymore, anyhoo.... you win in my opinion, good luck.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
